Rolex Daytona ‘6265’ Silverprint Sigma

The Rolex Daytona 6265 from 1975 is a classic example of the early manual-wind Daytona generation, combining a functional chronograph design with the refined details that define vintage Rolex sports watches. This example features a black silverprint Sigma dial known for its subtle warmth and depth with sigma signatures indicating the use of solid gold for the hands and hour markers. The early 4 million serial case places it firmly in the first production years of the 6265 reference, a period where the Daytona was still very much a professional instrument rather than a modern collector icon.

This watch is fitted with correct period components, including MK2 pushers which are consistent with early 6265 production and provide the characteristic tactile chronograph operation of the era. It is paired with a 7835 folded oyster bracelet with 271 end links, completing the watch in a fully period-correct configuration. Preserved in top condition with a strong case, clean dial and well-matched components. This example stands out as a highly original and well-balanced vintage Daytona, offering both historical integrity and strong collector appeal.
